Our R&D department has developed a new reagent, Pyruvic Acid. Pyruvic Acid is an organic acid naturally present in wine that influences the mouth feel and the wines body. This acid contributes to the organoleptic features of wine and should be controlled because it binds to sulfur dioxide, reducing its preservative effect and wines shelf life.
Our BioSystems kit remains stable for two months from preparation date and it is supplied with a liquid calibrator stable till expiration date. All reagents are liquid and ready to be used. These characteristics result into a unique kit in oenological market and the most stable one.
Likewise, BioSystems R&D Department has improved the Enologycal Acid increasing the number of parameters included in the calibrator from 6 up to 12, providing some of the most important parameters in different laboratory routines.
The new calibrator Enologycal, is ready to use and stable until the expiration date. It provides calibration values at five concentration levels for various acids, sugars, nitrogenated substances and glycerol. These features convert it into a unique multiparametric calibrator in its market.
