Regarding the performance of the Glucose-Hexokinase measurement procedure in urine samples, it is recommended to use our new Biochemistry Control Urine (code 18054) where the assigned value is just for the Hexokinase method.
BioSystems strives to achieve excellence by addressing the needs of laboratories globally, we hope these new product will help meet your needs.
BioSystems is offering an international accepted method for measurements of glucose in urine: GLUCOSE-HEXOKINASE. This new method allows the measurement of glucose in different types of sample: serum, plasma, urine and cerebrospinal fluid.
An aqueous primary pattern valued for this method in 100 mg/dL (5.56 mmol/L) is added inside the manuals presentations kits (codes 11656).
In order to verify the performance of the Glucose-Hexokinase measurement procedure, it is recommended to use the Biochemistry Control Serum level I (cod. 18005, 18009 and 18042) and level II (cod. 18007, 18010 and 18043) where the value assigned to the Glucose-Hexokinase is the same as for the current Glucose (Oxidase/Peroxidase).
